So, now we have a new smartphone belonging to the Galaxy C series, which is means especially for the Chinese market. Like other members of the family, the Galaxy C9 Pro has a metal casing, and it comes with some interesting hardware components. First of all, the Galaxy C9 Pro is the first phone made by the South Korean manufacturer to include 6 GB of RAM, which is a bit odd if we take into consideration the fact that we’re not talking about a flagship as it sports a SoC that fits in the mid-tier segment. As far as the other specs go, the device features a Super AMOLED display that measures no less than 6 inches and has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. When it comes to the amount of storage, it offers 32 GB, but it can be expanded via microSD card.

The processor that underpins the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 653, which is coupled with an Adreno 510 graphics chip. Moreover, it has a dual SIM tray, and the secondary slot can be used for storage expansion. In the camera department, there is a 16 MP main snapper located in the back, and a 16 MP one on the front as well, although the sensor is most likely less capable than the one of the main camera.

The capacity of the battery is 4,000mAh and it can’t be removed. Like all the Samsung branded handsets, the Galaxy C9 Pro also boasts a physical home button that lies under the screen. The button can also be used as a fingerprint recognition sensor. On the software side of things, the terminal runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow customized with the well known TouchWiz. The overall size of the device is 162.9 x 80.7 x 6.9 mm, and it weighs 185 grams.
