TheGalaxy A9 Pro (which may or may not be the final name) carries model number SM-A9100 (the Galaxy A9 is SM-A9000), and we can confirm that development for the device’s firmware is underway. The A9100 is for the Chinese market; we don’t have any other details on the handset, so for now there is no saying what the Pro variant will bring over the regular model. Perhaps a display with higher resolution (the A9 uses a Full HD 6-inch panel)? More internal storage? Or maybe, Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box?
Samsung’s new A series already offers the best hardware that we have seen on a non-flagship lineup from the company , and it will be interesting to see what the Galaxy A9 Pro will bring to the table.
