Both Android and iOS games have been updated, but some of the changes included are different. For example, those who play on iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus will be pleased to know that Bethesda has added 3D Touch support.
“Overseers using an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus can now take advantage of Fallout Shelter’s new 3D Touch support. With 3D Touch you can load directly into your vaults, skipping the main menu. You can also use 3D Touch to assign Dwellers to rooms and access storage just by tapping on any Storage Room,” explain developers in a blog post.
One other major new feature included in the update is scrapping. The new feature allows players to scrap unwanted weapons and outfits for junk that can be used for crafting. Scrapping is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
Make your dwellers look like ghouls
Also, the developers have introduced the ability to collect Junk by sending Dwellers into de Wasteland, but also from Lunchboxes because the better the Junk, the better the items players will be able to craft.
But that’s not all, as Bethesda has confirmed that its engineers have added new customization options to the Barbershop and new civilian outfits to craft or find in lunchboxes. This means that you will be able to make your dwellers look like Ghouls if that’s what you want.
If you don’t have the game yet, you can download Fallout Shelter for Android for free via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.1 and up.
On the other hand, iOS users can download Fallout Shelter for free via App Store. It should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 7.0 or later.
