Nokia's Upcoming Flagship Phone Is Called P1, To Be Announced At MWC 2017

According to Russian publication Worket, the Nokia P1, a phone that leaked last summer, is the company's upcoming flagship smartphone and not the rumoured Nokia 8. The phone is based on the Sharp Aquos Xx3, but with a much better hardware under the hood, along with some other improvements.

The handset is expected to pack a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6 GB of RAM, and up to 256 GB of internal memory. The main highlight of the phone is a 22.6-megapixel rear camera that is also Zeiss-certified, and the body is expected to be IP57 certified.

The rest of the specifications include a 5.3-inch display with Gorilla Glass 5 that will either have 1080p or QHD resolution, a fingerprint scanner on the right side, and a 3,500mAh battery with quick charging capabilities.

The sad thing about the phone is the price. The 128 GB model will be priced at around $800, while the 256 GB will go for around $950.
