Based on these very renders, concept artistPhoneDesigner published a dozen of extremely well-made, gorgeous renders of the Lumia 850, with a touch of his own creativity. Suffices to say that in this case — and as a news site we don't get to say this very often — the images make words redundant. Prettyyyy!

Anyways, in case those aforementioned specs grabs piqued your interest, here's what we think we know so far. The Microsoft Lumia 850 is expected to be a mid-range device with a pretty large, 5.7-inch display running a 1080 x 1920 pixel grid. The device is said to be coming packing an octa-core Snapdragon 617 by Qualcomm, coupled with an Adreno 405 GPU, all enclosed within a very slim, 0.27 inch (6.92 mm) body made out of metal — or at least the frame.

If the Lumia 850 proves legit, it'll be an interesting development for Microsoft's portfolio, for we haven't seen an 800-series Lumia since late 2014, with the 830 being the last representative. From where we're standing, it's looking like Redmond might be interested in expanding its product line with a true mid-range device once again, as the Lumia 600-series phones so far barely qualify and are perhaps best considered entry-level. Time will tell — in the meantime, enjoy them renders below.
