Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Now Supports Multi-Disc Games

Backwards compatibility on the Xbox One has expanded to support multi-disc games and the first Xbox 360 game to work due to this support is Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut. Xbox's Larry Hryb confirmed that the engineers working on backwards compatibility had found a way to support longer games.

Microsoft regularly updates the list of old games that can work on the Xbox One. Moving forward, that list should feature an increasing number of multi-disc titles.

Some of the top games that are already supported include Halo: Reach, Gears of War 3, and Fallout 3.

Yes, 'Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut' was the first multi-disc Backward Compatible title added to the program. We know fans were asking for this feature and our engineers worked hard developing a solution to enable it so we could further expand the titles included in Xbox One Backward Compatibility. We're continuing to listen to our fans on Xbox Feedback and work with our publishing partners to grow out library of Xbox One Backward Compatibility titles and will work to include more multi-disc games.
