Samsung Galaxy Note 7 explodes while charging using a USB Type-C converter
Samsung is in the process to ship the Galaxy Note 7 to its customers who pre-ordered the device, but we already have a case of an exploded device.
A brand new Galaxy Note 7 blew up in China and turned into a mess while charging with a microUSB to USB Type-C converter.
We are not sure as to whether the owner of this device used a bundled microUSB to USB Type-C converter, but we recommend everyone to use the bundled Samsung wall charger to charge the device. Hopefully, the issue isn’t widespread as it would put a lot of customers in danger.
