Some of you might recall that Xiaomi demoed the Mi5's 4-axis OIS (optical image stabilization) feature against iPhone 6S Plus, which packs a camera with 2-axis OIS.

Today, a new video showing world's first 6GB RAM smartphone performance has just leaked on Weibo, the Chinese version of Facebook (via TimesNews).

The video might have been leaked through official channels since the Vivo Xplay 5 in the middle is wrapped up in some cloth to hide the final design of the smartphone.

Three smartphones are shown in the video: two Vivo devices and Apple's iPhone 6S. As mentioned earlier, the one in the middle is the Xplay 5, which is supposed to go official next week.

The test proves that the Vivo Xplay 5 opens the Messages application faster than Apple's iPhone 6S, which many might find invalid since we're talking about different platforms.

A monster on paper

Performance aside, Vivo's upcoming Xplay 5 flagship looks like a beast on paper. The company already confirmed the smartphone will pack 6GB of RAM, which will make the first in the world with such a high amount of memory.

Coupled with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor and 64GB of internal memory, Vivo Xplay 5 should be one of the most powerful smartphones on the market. On top of that, the Chinese company teased the dual curved edge display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Other rumored Xplay 5 specs include a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, 8-megapixel secondary camera in the front and a 5.5-inch display.

Unfortunately, we don't expect the Vivo Xplay 5 to make it outside China unless you're willing to order one from retailers willing to ship internationally.
