Remember the Galaxy A9 Pro that we exclusively reported about a couple of months ago? Well, it is essentially a beefed-up version of the Galaxy A9, and it comes with a mammoth 5,000 mAh battery. It also gets an upgrade in terms of memory with 4GB of RAM. Other specifications include a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, a 16-megapixel primary camera with OIS, and an 8-megapixel secondary camera.

The Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100), which will be launched in China soon, comes with a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 652 processor, 32GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It supports two SIM cards and has a fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button. Moreover, it runs Android 6.0.1 out of the box. Nothing has changed in terms of design and build though. It sports the same metal-and-glass design as other Galaxy A (2016) series devices. The phone will be available in three colors: Pink, Rose Gold, and White. It is hands down the most powerful Galaxy A series device ever, and it is expected to retail for 3,499 Yuan (or roughly $540) in the country.
