Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Color Comparison

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes in four colors - and we show them off in this color comparison! Which one would you pick?

Samsung just unveiled the latest addition to their popular Galaxy Note line, and while they decided to skip a number, the Galaxy Note 7 is actually the sixth generation of the series. As always, Samsung has a few color options for users to choose from, and we’ll be taking a closer look at these options in this Samsung Galaxy Note 7 color comparison!

First up is the gold edition, or as Samsung likes to call it, Gold Platinum. Unfortunately, this color iteration of the Galaxy Note 7 will not be available in the US, which is quite disappointing, as there will certainly be a lot of people who will prefer this option. Our Lanh actually liked the gold edition the most out of the four available choices.

Next up is the silver edition, which was a color option that was first introduced with the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ last year. Silver isn’t a bad color by any means, but among the options available, it wasn’t the first one that any of us picked. One thing that is nice is that the translucent look really makes the silver pop, and it also blends in very well with the metal frame of the device.

A new color that has been introduced with the Galaxy Note 7 is Blue Coral. Of course, Samsung has had some version of blue available with previous flagships, but this edition is different from them. It actually has a baby blue look to it, and the translucency with the glass panels further enhances it, making it quite different from the darker blue variants that we’ve seen before. This may not be the first choice we would make either, but if we did end up with it, you wouldn’t hear any complaints.

Finally, we come to my personal favorite, the Black Onyx. There is something really nice about having just a black slate design. It’s something I’ve liked about a lot of other smartphones as well, but the black version of the Galaxy Note 7 is one of the best. Of all the choices available, Black Onyx is definitely the one I would pick first.

So, there you have it for this first look at the different color options that are available with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7! Rather surprisingly, Samsung decided to skip the Pearl White iteration, which has been one of the better options with previous high-end Galaxy smartphones, but the Coral Blue that replaces it isn’t bad either. As mentioned, Lanh’s favorite was the Gold Platinum version, which will unfortunately not be available in the US, while I am personally leaning towards the Black Onyx edition.
