Raspberry Pi 3 has sold in millions since its launch and it seems logical to be one of the first IoT devices to get the Windows 10 IoT Core Anniversary Update.
Microsoft's first major Windows 10 update is now rolling out to users, but except for the desktop version, the company has also prepared the same update for mobile and IoT devices. Mobile devices should get it on August 9, while some IoT devices are now receiving the update.
Raspberry Pi 3 has sold in millions since its launch and it seems logical to be one of the first IoT devices to get the Windows 10 IoT Core Anniversary Update. The update brings performance and application-support improvements and an easier setup experience, as well as functional parity with Raspberry Pi 2.
