The device that appears in the teaser video certainly resembles the HTC Desire 10 Pro, a smartphone that we saw earlier this month in a couple of unofficial renders.
According to recent rumors, the Desire 10 Pro sports a 5.1-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixels, and is powered by Qualcomm's high-end Snapdragon 820 processor. The handset should further offer a 12 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera, 4 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal memory. At launch, Android 6.0 Marshmallow may be on board, but we're guessing that HTC is already planning to update the phone to Android 7.0 Nougat.
Alongside the Desire 10 Pro, HTC might also announce the Desire 10 Lifestyle on September 20. Expected to be a stylish affordable smartphone, the Desire 10 Lifestyle could be powered by a Snapdragon 4xx processor, sporting a 5-inch 720p display.
Another new HTC handset that's seemingly coming soon is the One A9s, though this will likely be announced earlier than the Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle. More exactly, HTC should showcase the One A9s tomorrow, September 1, at IFA 2016. We'll be here to tell you all about HTC's upcoming smartphones as soon as official details arrive.
