Android-based Nokia D1C could have 5-inch and 5.5-inch variants

Nokia recently confirmed that 2017 would mark its brand's return to the smartphone market, and we're expecting new devices to be announced at MWC 2017 in late February.

One of the new smartphones that the Finnish company could unveil early next year is the Nokia D1C (its final name will almost surely be different). Initially, we heard that the D1C would sport a 5.5-inch screen, but now it looks like the handset may have two versions.

According to NokiaPowerUser, in addition to a 5.5-inch Nokia D1C, we could also get a smaller, 5-inch one. The screens of both models should have 1080 x 1920 pixel resolutions, but the larger model is expected to offer 3 GB of RAM and a 16 MP rear camera, while the smaller one might come with just 2 GB of RAM and a 13 MP rear camera. Common features should include an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 8 MP front-facing camera, 16 GB of internal memory, and Android 7 Nougat out of the box.

Assuming that the features listed here are correct, both Nokia D1C variants will probably be sold at attractive prices.

What you're seeing below are previously leaked renders that may show the two rumored versions of the Nokia D1C. However, at the moment, we can't vouch for their accuracy, so the final, real design might be different.
